Jessica Weaver is the owner and principal consultant of Weaver Philanthropic Strategies.

Engaged in our community and steeped in philanthropic values as a living force, Jessica has been providing organizational and nonprofit management consulting for over 20 years.

Jessica’s career has included roles at Arthur Andersen and the Notley Fund, specializing in financial  accounting and management consulting, human resources, and community affairs.  Jessica received her Bachelor of Accounting from the University of San Diego and her Masters of Philanthropic Studies from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. Other philanthropic strategy certifications earned include graduate certificates in Philanthropic Studies and Fund Raising Management from Indiana University and a certificate in Nonprofit Board Consulting from BoardSource.
Jessica is currently a faculty member at The Fund Raising School at Indiana University, teaching philanthropy and fundraising strategies in annual sustainability, developing major gifts and capital campaign management. 
Jessica is a current member of the Board of Governors of the Austin Community Foundation, ZACH Theatre, and Leadership Austin, as well as a member of The New Philanthropist's Legacy Leadership Circle. Past board leadership appointments also include both the Austin and Denver Children’s Museums, the Austin Ed Fund, Legacy of Giving, Women's Fund and the Ronald McDonald House. Jessica successfully co-chaired the $18 million capital campaign for the Thinkery in 2013.
